Fashion is what we wear, what we aspire to be, how we present ourselves to society through clothing. "Fashion" refers to a distinctive; often-habitual trend in a look and dress up of a person, as well as to prevailing styles in behavior. Fashion design, textile design, as well as fashion technology are the part and parcel of Fashion Industry. Fashion design is the art of application of design and aesthetics or natural beauty to clothing and accessories. In many aspects, fashion and technology are a great match: they are both future-driven, product focused, and, essentially, a growing passion for many young consumers. "Fashion-Technology" connects & streamlines fashion, apparel and/or different aspects of the fashion industry to consumers and/or other fashion industry professionals by utilizing & implementing technology in order to make the user's experience more efficient and enjoyable.
Fashion is a fantastic way to express your personality and let people know who you are. You can also change your fashion for different situations and even though you're exactly the same person, because you look different you are perceived differently. When you're meeting someone the first thing they learn about you is what you look like. People tend to make assumptions about you because of what you wear and you want them to get the right idea.
Fashion can promote creativity, that is very important in culture, society, and religion. It can make you look and feel more professional. What we dress matter its our business card. One can able to show through clothes his/her personality, what he/she like, what he/she don't and relate to similar individuals. There is also variety and all the fashion styles are an type of art. Fashion keep us creative, entertain and even give us confidence in what we wear in so many different ways.
When you are well dressed, you are raring to go. You feel comfortable, confident, and good about yourself. And if you are extremely presentable and are giving off a positive vibe, you’ll increase your chances of success wherever you may be (school, workplace, social gathering, etc.). It could also be classified as a “fashion statement” because it is taking away the way you dress for a purpose.
Most people may not think fashion is important. The people should find another way to be creative, like joining an art class, or getting in to photography. Maybe people think the clothing choices aren’t all that great, Fashion can make you more creative everyday life. Every morning you get up and get dressed. You put some creative thought in what you wear. No matter if you’re going out with friends or to work. On a daily basis you have to put thought into what you wear.
Fashion is very important in job interviews, you need to dress to impress. If you are wearing tack miss matched clothes, chances are you aren’t going to get the job. If dressed professionally, and have nice clothes on. You are probably going to get the job by your looks. Also, lots of people snap judgment on how you look and dress. When you begin paying close attention to what you are wearing, you will begin to notice details in other areas of your life. This includes the quality of others’ work and, most importantly, the quality of your own work. This new found focus can also be applied to your social life such as bettering your ability to recall certain details about someone you recently met. Dressing well is an activity that will eventually result in you becoming more responsible due to gaining a finer perception.

Fashion industry is an international and highly globalized industry, with clothing often designed in one country, manufactured in another, and sold world-wide. The fashion industry has long been one of the largest employers. However, by any measure, the clothing industry accounts for a significant share of world economic output. The fashion industry consists of four levels: (1) The production of raw materials, principally fibers and textiles but also leather and fur, (2) The production of fashion goods by designers, manufacturers, contractors, and others, (3) Retail sales, (4) Advertising and promotion. These levels consist of many separate but interdependent sectors. These sectors are Textile Design and Production, Fashion Design and Manufacturing, Fashion Retailing, Marketing and Merchandising, Fashion Shows, and Media and Marketing. Each sector is devoted to the goal of satisfying consumer demand for apparel under conditions that enable participants in the industry to operate at a profit.
Fashion is big business and it is ever changing, versatile, creative. there are a variety of different types of opportunities—creative jobs in design and marketing; retail sales and buying positions; and corporate careers in finance, planning, and distribution. With its rigorous hours, capricious culture and wobbly corporate ladder, the fashion industry is meant for dedicated persons Employers in the fashion industry seek individuals who possess the following skill sets: organized, open-minded, creative, assertive, thick-skinned, professional demeanor, and verbal and written communication.
